Go-Pak wears Green in aid of Mental Health Awareness
Wear It Green Day, Thursday 15th May for Mental Health Awareness Week (12-18 May) - let’s turn the world green for mental health!
At Go-Pak, we believe mental health matters and we're proud to show our support during Mental Health Awareness Week, taking place from 12–18 May 2025. In partnership with the Mental Health Foundation, we’re joining thousands across the UK to mark 'Wear It Green Day' on Thursday 15 May, helping to raise awareness and vital funds for better mental health.
This year’s theme, 'Let’s turn the world green for good mental health', is more than just a colour - it’s a call to action. By wearing green, we’re standing in solidarity with those affected by mental health challenges and showing our commitment to breaking the stigma that still surrounds this critical issue.
At our UK Head Office and Warehouse, employees have been wearing green, decorating the workspaces, and participating in activities that promote wellbeing, connection, and open conversations. Every green garment worn and every pound raised goes directly towards the Mental Health Foundation’s ongoing work to help people understand, protect, and sustain their mental health.
Why it matters:
- 1 in 6 people experience a common mental health problem each week in the UK.
- Mental Health Awareness Week shines a light on prevention and early intervention.
- Creating open, supportive environments at work and in our communities encourages early intervention and recovery.
- Mental health is just as important as physical health, yet stigma often prevents people from seeking help.
- Supporting mental wellbeing fosters a healthier, happier, and more resilient workforce.
- Every small action - like wearing green - helps spark bigger conversations about how we can all care for our mental health and support others.
Let’s turn the world green together!
We invite everyone to get involved, share photos, and help spread the word on social media using the hashtag #WearItGreen.
Together, we can build a healthier, more compassionate future for everyone.
